Many of our courses offer trial study days or shadowing opportunities, allowing you to experience student life firsthand. You’ll attend a few classes, talk to lecturers and students, and get a feel for the atmosphere. So you know that you are making the right choice.
During a trial study day, you will attend lectures, meet teachers and students and experience the campus atmosphere. A shadowing day allows you to spend a day with a current student, following their schedule and attending their classes. Both options give you a realistic insight into what studying at Zuyd in Holland is like.
Trial study and shadowing can take place on campus or online. Check out the courses you are interested in. If no suitable dates are listed, don’t worry! You can also contact the programme. In some cases, you may arrange an individual shadowing experience with a student.

Vertaalacademie
Je specialiseert je in vertalen, tolken of ondertitelen in Duits, Frans of Spaans, scherpt je Engels en Nederlands aan en leert werken met vertaaltools en AI.
Fysiotherapie
Je leert mensen met lichamelijke klachten behandelen en helpt sporters, ouderen en chronisch zieken weer zo goed mogelijk te bewegen.
International Business
Je leert creatief en kritisch denken, kansen creëren en internationaal samenwerken. Vanaf dag één werk je in het Engels aan echte opdrachten van bedrijven.
Verloskunde
Je leert zwangerschappen en bevallingen begeleiden en draagt zorg voor de gezondheid van moeder en kind in deze bijzondere periode.

The best way to know if a programme is right for you is to experience it for yourself. During a trial study day you will gain insight into course content. You will attend lectures and participate in assignments and experience what higher education feels like.
Together with other (prospective) students, you will dive into the material and explore whether this way of studying appeals to you. Our lecturers will be available to answer all your questions about the programme, the study load or career opportunities after graduation.
All trial study days are pre-scheduled, and signing up is easy. If no dates are available for your course or you can’t make the available dates, don’t worry – new dates are added regularly. You can also request to be notified when new trial days are scheduled.

This experience will give you insight into the course content, the college atmosphere and teaching style. It’s a great way to see if this course and student life in the Netherlands are a good fit for you.
